Kirsty's fundraising page

OK where do i start....there are 2 reasons I am doing this. First is to get my fat ass up and out and second and most importantly is to raise money to help find a cure for a terrible disease that cripples so many family lives every single day. My beautiful friend sadly lost her mum in 2016 after being diagnosed with breast cancer and after chemo and radiotherapy the cancer had spread. Essie moved back into her childhood home to care for her mum taking 2 young children with her. Just a month ago she went on to raise a staggering £2000 for The Christie taking part in a charity pink collar boxing match. Where she got the strength from is beyond me. I write this just a day after another huge part of Essie's life story unfolds. As a few weeks ago Essie herself was diagnosed with breast cancer and has now had surgery and hopefully concentrating on getting better. Through all of the highs and lows in her life she has ALWAYS stayed strong ALWAYS looking at the positive and ALWAYS has a smile on her face. I have no idea how she does it. I will be joining Olivia to do this 10k. Hopefully we can push each other through the finishing line towards Essie. Just need to find the best pic of her to stick on the back of a tshirt hehe. No matter who you are if something doesn't feel right GET IT CHECKED!!
