Too many people are battling or have lost their battle with Cancer. This is my small way of helping.
My Story
Everyone knows someone who is battling cancer, has been through the cancer battle or lost someone dear to their heart through cancer. Over the last couple of years, I have watched friends and family lose those close to them. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. This is how your donation can help: £5 provides one of CRUK's ground-breaking research labs with essential chemicals, helping to beat cancer sooner. £100 covers the cost of giving one patient the Cytosponge test and analysing their results in the lab to diagnose early stages of oesophageal cancer. £270 covers the cost of a trial for a day to find the best treatment for children with a rare type of leukaemia As you can see, every penny goes towards a worthwhile cause. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK.
