My Story
1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Having lost more than one family member to Cancer and having a family member suffering with an incurable form of Cancer at the moment I am more driven than ever to raise money to help fund the research & development of cancer treatments & procedures to provide hope to all future cancer patients. Cancer is happening right now, Every day peoples lives are affected; Sorrow spreads and so many questions are unanswered. With our help we can help make a change, find answers and fight back! I want to make a difference. I want future children and families to have hope, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5K to raise money and save lives. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
