In memory of
Nigel Tiller who was a school governor for 25 years
12th Apr 1958 - 3rd Feb 2021
Cancer is happening right now, which is why we're taking part in a Race for Life Schools to raise money and save lives. In February our Governor, Nigel Tiller passed away from Kidney Cancer. He had been a school governor for 25 years. Throughout his cancer journey he continued to support our school attending meetings until a week before he died. Not only was he originally a pupil at the school his children also attended Kinson and in recent years his wife works in school as the Administration Lead and son as the Enrichment Coordinator. Nigel believed passionately about the local area and all our families and always tried to obtain the best for Kinson Academy. We all know someone who is or has been affected by cancer and we are taking part in race for life to remember and support all of them and especially as a fitting memorial event for Nigel 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor us now.
