Kim's Walk All Over Cancer Fundraising Page

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This March I’m walking 10,000 steps a day throughout the month with the help of 4 fantastic friends. Having personally experienced the shitstorm of cancer in 2014 when I was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer , and having lost many beautiful friends along the way this charity is very close to my heart. Unfortunately cancer reared it’s head once again in 2019 when my Dad was diagnosed with lung cancer. Although treatment has progressed so much in these last few years , there is still so much to learn about this disease. I found this challenge appropriate as no matter how small the steps may be - we need to keep on moving and advancing in our research. In memory of all those I’ve lost through my breast cancer group bbb ,Francoise Meunier and in loving memory of the father of my friend Mags who sadly passed away in December . I’ll be also walking for my inspirational friend Kate Burke and to all those people I love that are still struggling. A big shout out to my Dad for his continued strength during this difficult time - please donate if you can as every little helps. Christopher Reeve said ”a hero” - is an ordinary individual who finds the strength to persevere and endure inspite of overwhelming obstacles. Facing cancer treatment alone during covid my Dad is my hero 😘 Whilst we try to find a cure and help raise money for funding life saving research please remember.... ❤️ Cancer is also limited - it cannot cripple love , or shatter hope, it cannot corrode faith, it cannot eat away at peace , it cannot destroy Confidence, it cannot kill friendships, it cannot shut out memories, it cannot silence courage, it cannot reduce eternal life , it cannot quench the spirit .
