Kim's Race for Life

Thank you for taking the time to visit my Just Giving page. 2 years ago I was not well enough to take part as a walker or a runner in the Bournemouth 'Race for Life'. But I was very proud of my daughter Anna who volunteered to push me around the course in a wheelchair. Last year she completed the race on her own. However, this year I am determined to enter and be beside her and my partner John, who is also taking part. I am not sure who will be running or who will be walking but we will finish "together - by each others' side" the same way we have been since my diagnosis. So many people I know and care about have had personal experiences or know of someone close to them that have been affected by this terrible disease. Events like this are so important - If it wasn't for Cancer Research the specific treatment that is being given to me to control my cancer would not have been found and I cannot express how grateful I am for that. What I would like to do is to try and raise as much money as I can in order to help fund Cancer Research UK so that they can continue their life saving work.
