My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. My family and so many of my close friends have been through some life changing experiences over the last few years due to “it” (my Nan refuses to give it a name). The scary fact is 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Everyone who knows me knows I absolutely hate running with a passion and some (my dad and brother) may joke and say that I can’t run! But I’ve challenged myself to hopefully run 5k to help raise money towards finding a cure.
