My Story
I’m far from a natural runner, so 5K to me is a challenge but one i’d like to beat - while I’m on with it, it would be made all the better if I could raise some funds for the very worthy Cancer Research. We’ve all been touched by Cancer in one way or another, so any pennies you can spare would be hugely appreciated! Cancer is happening right now, 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
