Raising money for charities that support those with cancer and drive research into potential cures is something that is extremely close to my heart as not only have several members of my extended family survived breast cancer, but one of my grandfathers died of leukaemia before I was born, and both my father and great-grandmother died of brain cancer. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
