I’m walking and running all over cancer, please support me
10,000 steps a day throughout March plus a half marathon! Yes you read that right, the girl who, not that long ago, couldn't run a mile is running 13 (and a bit) of them! I'm starting off by taking part in Cancer Research's challenge of 10,000 steps a day every day throughout March and finishing with the BTR Liverpool half marathon on Sunday 2nd April. Every 2 minutes someone in the UK is diagnosed with cancer, that's a lot of people and a lot of families affected. I truly believe one day it can be beaten, so every penny you can spare would be greatly appreciated. Advances in diagnosis and treatment are making a difference but further research (and thus advances) needs to be carried out so please give generously. You never know, if the knowledge we had now had been around 25 years ago, maybe my Nan would still be around.
