My Mum
My Story
My mum battled cancer for 5 years before she passed away in 2013. I run in memory of her bravery, and to raise money to help support this vital research in the hope that one day we will have a cure. This year I'll be walking the route with my baby girl as I'm still recovering from my c-section. But I'm sure carrying a 6.5kg baby for 5km will be quite a challenge!

With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
