My Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page. I have chosen to run the marathon for cancer research because, whilst I was lucky enough to grow up without feeling the effect of cancer, my wife and daughters can not say the same. Hopefully the money I raise from running the marathon will, in some small part, help stop another family having to go through everything my wife and her family went through. Brain cancers
Each year in the UK, more than 12,288 people are diagnosed with tumours that start in the brain or elsewhere in the central nervous system. That’s 35 people every single day. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat brain cancer.
