I'm taking on the race for life to beat Cancer sooner!
In memory of
Julie Kelly
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. One of my closest friends lost her mum to the dreaded C word earlier this year, so as a group we decided to do the pretty muddy to support cancer research in her memory. What an amazing woman she was! She is the main reason that got my butt in gear to do this!!! Personally I am also doing this event in memory of my nan who I lost two years ago, as well as my other grandparents and my best friends mum who past away a few years ago now. Cancer effects all of us in one way or another, and it's time to fight back!

Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
