My Story
Cancer is something that I hold very close to my heart. I was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma in 2014. From being in my late 20' enjoying life with my 2 beautiful kids and husband to suddenly being told I have Cancer was a big shock, my whole life turned upside down, so many thoughts started to rush through my mind. It was so hard to imagine what lay ahead in the coming years but thankfully with the help, support and all the prayers and well wishes from my friends and family and cancer research im in complete remission!! It feels absolutely amazing to say that! I was lucky to fight my battle but sadly I lost one of my aunts to Cancer a few years ago. It was so tough to see her go through such an awful illness and see my uncle and cousin brothers lose the closest person to them but I know she's no longer suffering. Knowing that almost every other household someone is fighting their battle is one of the reasons why I'm taking part in the 5k Race for Life Pretty Muddy. Please donate and make a difference.
