I'm taking part in Race for Life to raise money to beat cancer

I was diagnosed with Bowel Cancer two weeks before Christmas 2019, have since undergone surgery and am now going through aggressive Chemotherapy.

Nothing could have prepared me for this and the impact it would have on not only myself but also on my lovely family. It goes without saying that it's a horrible disease.

I will now make it my mission to raise money to help people just like me, my friends and family who have been affected and all those I know you all know who have also been in some way affected by Cancer.

If you'd like to join our Team, please go to the main Team Awang page, scroll down, click on "Join Team" and follow the registration instructions.

Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives.

1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.

Bowel cancer

Over the past 40 years there's been dramatic progress in tackling bowel cancer and half of people diagnosed will now survive for at least 10 years. But with bowel cancer still claiming around 43 lives each day, more research still needs to be done. Help Cancer Research UK find new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat the disease.
