Cancer is happening right now, I have been diagnosed with grade 2 diffused glioma brain tumour. I have finished proton beam radiotherapy and will soon be beginning 6 months of chemotherapy which is why this 5K will be a challenge, I lost my nephew Bobby to neuroblastoma when he was five and my good friend Ellie to Bowel Cancer 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
