In memory of
Family members that we have lost and our palliative patients at work.
My Story
I want to take part in Race for Life 5k to help to raise money and save lives. I have watched family members having to live with this awful disease, some have fought and beaten it and some who have sadly lost their battle with it. We can only hope that one day a cure is found. I work for the Palliative Care End of Life Team and everyone I work with does such an amazing job to help our patients and families get all the help and support they need in their final months and days of life. I am so proud to work for a fantastic team. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so I would be so grateful if you could please sponsor me.
