I'm taking part in Race for Life to raise money to beat cancer

Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 10k to raise money and save lives.

1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.

My madness of doing a 10k Race For Life is due to my Mam being diagnosed with Breast Cancer late last year. After 8 extremely long months she has finally finished her treatment last week.

Her treatment and care at The Rosemere Cancer Foundation in Preston was outstanding from start to finish. Watching her ring that bell 3 times at the end of her treatment was the best feeling ever.

So "Team Supergran" will be competing in the Preston 10k Race For Life which seemed more appropriate as a thank you to The Rosemere Cancer Foundation.

Team Supergran consists of...
Kate Stamp - my rock through all this
Nina Lockrie and Abby Jade Taylor - my nieces who have supported and transported their Grandma for her treatment
Caitlin Lockrie, Tyeisha Stamp and Lincon Stamp - the Great Grandkids

The rest of family have supported and helped out during this tough time for us all and we as a family would like to thank you for any donations to the page.
