My Story
I’m running this 10k not only for all of my family, friends, colleagues, acquaintances and even strangers who have been affected by cancer but also, perhaps selfishly, for myself. I’m hoping to match or beat my 1hr 4 mins time on last June. Running is fantastic for our physical and mental wellbeing and regular self-care is so important to making us able to deal with all the challenges life may throw at us. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour.
