Wilma Rogerson
We will be running the 5k run in honour of my grandmother and grandfather. After the recent passing of my grandmother and the passing of my grandfather in June of last year after being diagnosed with cancer 3 times. My nan was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer in December of 2016 and struggled fighting the disease for three long months before she fell asleep for the last time. A big thank you for the support of the Marie curie nurses and carers. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
