Since losing my mum 6 years ago, I have been taking part in Race for Life with my family. Each year we raise a wonderful amount of money in her memory to help people not suffer the way she did. Mum was kind, caring, fun and beautiful inside and out. She was an amazing woman who was taken too soon.

Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
