Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Last October I was one of those statistics when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. October 21st, a day I will never forget. The journey has often been difficult and treatments hard, however advancement over recent years has meant my treatment is working. I’m one of the lucky ones and there is still so much to be done to ensure people aren’t taken from us too soon. I’m running this year to ensure research continues so that in future others journeys can be a little easier. We can do this 💕 F U Cancer 🖕
