My Story

Thank you for visiting Ken's memory page. Ken passed away on 9th December 2022 after battling cancer for over 2 years. Throughout his illness Ken would often talk about his belief in medical research and, for a time, he benefitted from some of the amazing steps forward that have been taken in cancer medicine in recent years. However, many treatments take their toll and there is still a great deal to do in developing new and more effective treatments that are more gentle for patients. Cancer Research UK supports research into all aspects of cancer through the work of over 4,000 scientists, doctors and nurses. Please donate today and help to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. If you are a UK taxpayer the value of your donation can increase by 25% under the Gift Aid scheme – at no additional cost to you. Please tick the Gift Aid box when you donate.
