After a year where vital cancer trials have been delayed, the Race for Life is more important than ever! I am running this year for the amazing people I have had the privilege of knowing personally or professionally who are battling or have battled Cancer. Unfortunately it has been devastating to see the significant reduction in Cancer services this past year due to the Pandemic and so I feel there has never been a more crucial time to sign up and pledge my support and try to help a little towards raising funds for such vital research. Sadly we lost my wonderful grandad around this time last year to Cancer. Like so so many people, we were unable to have the precious time with him that we could have had due to the pandemic restrictions, so pledging my support seems more poignant than ever. That's why I'll be taking part in the Race for Life at Home. I am not a runner haha but will give it my best :) Every pound you can donate will go towards Cancer Research UK’s ground-breaking work, so please sponsor me today! Please please join too if you can. If you’d like to join the Race for Life at Home community, then sign up at raceforlife.org/race-for-life-at-home
