My Story

Having seen so many people loose their fight to cancer I want to raise some money to do the little part I can. Having had 2 kids in the last few years my fitness levels are at rock bottom, and this will be the motivation I need to get my fat ass off the couch Back in 2002 I heard those dreaded words - it’s cancerous, I was 25 year old and what I thought was just a dodgy freckle turned out to be more sinister. I was lucky I lost part of the muscle in my leg but within weeks I was ok and monitored for the next 5 years. Not everyone is so lucky The care I received was amazing and I’ll always be grateful for catching it early I also want to run I’m memory of an amazing woman from my childhood who no matter how many years go by we still remember her and the part she played in our lives growing up
