My motivation to do this comes from seeing the strength & bravery that my awesome friend Gran has!!
Cancer is a bitch! It will affect everyone in one way or another in our lives and this year has been the year it's affected me the most. One of my closest friends - my kind, caring, funny, beautiful friend - was diagnosed with breast cancer at a stupidly young age. A shock to us all, so I can only imagine the shock it was for her and her family. I can't be there for every treatment she has (even though I would love to be) and I can't take this horrible disease away. But I can help by raising as much money possible to fund research and support into this cruel disease. I hate running and have no strength in my body but I will do this for my beautiful, brave, strong friend - and for the millions of others fighting cancer.
