My Story
This year I am running the race for life. I have through the years known and met some amazing inspiring and courageous people, who have battled having cancer some who have made it and others who sadly didn’t. This charity means the world to me having worked within the Macmillan team at the hospital and understanding the devastation and impact it causes people and their families. I am running for my beautiful partners sister sammy, a beautiful girl whose twin sister Heidi I will be running with also she sadly lost her life back in 2009. I am running for Jodie Dillon a friend who lost her life last year in December a girl whose strive for life was amazing who I had planned to do a skydive with this year for our 40th birthday. I will run knowing that they are looking down on us all proud knowing we always will have that hope in our hearts. And hope is what keeps us going ❤️🙏🏽

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour.
