Cancer is happening right now. It took the life of my beautiful Niece, Amber Rose at the age of 25 years old. Amber began experiencing worrying symptoms in her late teens, but was refused a screening by her GP numerous times because she was too young. After booking a private clinic appointment it turned out that the cancerous tumour in her cervix had been growing for years. Amber had chemotherapy and radiotherapy, but the cancer spread to her lungs and throat, by which point doctors were unable to help. This is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. Please save other families from going through the same heartache. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK.
