My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. Cancer hit us, striking right at the heart of our family! My brave mam, Jean has fought ovarian cancer and is doing remarkably well. She is a true survivor and a the strongest person I know. If I am half the mam/wife she is i will be very happy. My dad Kevin bravely, courageous and with great dignity fought cancer until he lost his battle in October 2016. If my donations helped just one person or family then my efforts will all be worthwhile! 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me if you are able. As this years event is held on my dads birthday, the first we will have had without him i thought what better way to celebrate than running the Race for Life. Even if your docation is the cost of a birthday card i would greatly appreciate it. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK.
