We're raising as much as we can to beat cancer

In memory of

My Story

Round 3… We had planned to run the Race for Life again this year in memory of our wonderful Mum who passed away in December 2018 after 5 years of fighting Neuroendocrine cancer. However, with events being postponed we’ve decided to challenge ourselves with the Race for Life from Home. Cancer has devastating impacts on so many lives and even more so now as many people currently undergoing cancer treatment are immunocompromised, putting them at greater risk during this pandemic. Between us we are going to run 165 miles over the next month in honour of the 165,000 people who die from cancer each year in the UK. We hope to raise money for the continuing research into beating this disease and to help stop families having to suffer the loss of their loved ones to cancer.

CAUSE

Rare cancers

Together, rare cancers make up more than 20% of all cancer cases. Help fund Cancer Research UK to look for ways to improve our understanding of these diseases to save more lives.
