My Story

My mum is my superhero. She has the power to make everyone around her happy. My mum always uses her superpowers for good, and protects me and my brother from evil villains. I've always believed that my mum is invincible. But in 2013, I learned that not every evil villain wears a mask and a cape. When my mum told me she had breast cancer, I was terrified that I was going to lose my superhero. Even though she told me that she was going to be ok, I was scared that the cancer would take away her powers, and that she wouldn't be strong or happy anymore. But after surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy, my mum defeated cancer and is now stronger than ever. She has inspired everyone in our lives with her bravery, and I couldn't be prouder to call her my mum. I now want to raise money to show that everyone can be a superhero against cancer.
