My Story
In January 2014 my mum was suddenly diagnosed with an aggressive type of lung cancer. After battling for almost 3 years she sadly passed away in September 2016. After regular chemo became too much my mum was put on a biological tablet form of chemotherapy recently developed and being trialled by Cancer Research UK. For this reason this is a charity and cause very close to my heart and without the research that they do my mum may not have been able to outlive many expectations. So many families and lives are becoming affected by cancer and despite there being no one cure for all types I can say first hand that the advancements being made have allowed myself and my family the time needed to come to terms with a lot of things and the opportunities to spend quality time with one another. I've never done anything like this before and would love for it to one day all be made worthwhile! Any donation big or small would be MASSIVELYYYY appreciated! Thanks ❤️
