I'm running the Paris Marathon to raise funds for Cancer Research UK

My Story

Thank you for visiting my Fundraising Page. I have made the decision to run another marathon after about 20 years off as my mum discovered last year that she has cancer again after successfully defeating it over 20 years ago. She is receiving treatment that is experimental but has made her quality of life a lot more manageable. This is due to the groundbreaking work that organisations such as Cancer Research UK are undertaking. The money I raise will help fund life-saving research and to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
