My Story
Why should you sponsor me?! Firstly I’m doing Race For Life to help raise funds for Cancer Research UK which helps to fund scientists, doctors and nurses to help beat cancer sooner. Secondly I’ve set myself a personal challenge to run 5k this year. It perhaps doesn’t sound very ambitious but I’m not a ‘runner’! I’m taking on this challenge to raise money for a good cause and also as a reflection of how I’m being inspired by family and friends who’ve taken on greater significant personal challenges this year, with much more ambitious distances than 5k! We all have to start somewhere :-) Your sponsorship would be massively appreciated by not only the charity and myself but will also give me a huge dose of motivational support in the coming weeks as I work up to running continuously for 5k.
