My Story
Since my last fundraiser in May 2024, aggressive cancer took my sister and nearly took my dad too. Over the years, cancer has touched my family and friends in more ways than I can count. It doesn’t care about age, plans, or fairness. It just keeps showing up. In the UK, the odds of developing cancer are now close to 1 in 2. That’s why better treatments, earlier detection, and ultimately a cure are vital. So, this is what I’m doing. On 2nd May 2026, I’ll be running the Malvern Hills Ultra. It’s 75km (47 miles) across the beautiful Malvern Hills in Worcestershire. It’s the furthest I’ve ever run. I know it’ll be brutal, and I’ll be training for months, pushing the limits of what I think I can do. I’m doing this to raise money for Cancer Research UK, to help fund the research that gives families more time, more options, and more hope. If you can, I’m asking you to do one thing: please donate. Whether it’s £1 or £100, every contribution genuinely matters and every pound helps move us closer to better outcomes for everyone affected by cancer. If donating isn’t possible, please consider other ways you can make a difference, such as volunteering, fundraising, or donating blood or stem cells. Finally, if you’ve read this far, thank you. I’ve linked my Strava to this page so you can follow my training and see the miles add up. Thank you and F*CK cancer.
