My Story
Cancer affects the lives of so many people, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy - to raise money and help science to save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. My Auntie, Grandfather, Uncle and most recently my Mother-in-law, plus several friends have had their lives prematurely ended or irreparably changed by the disease. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
