Preston 10k 2018

Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 10k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK. We all know someone who has been affected by cancer, some have been fortunate enough to beat it others have not been so fortunate. My Dad was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer at the age of just 42. Within days we found out it had spread to his liver and that is was at stage 4 and terminal. From the date we got the news to the time of his passing it had only been 8 weeks! We had just 8 weeks to try and make more special memories with each other. It’s such a hard journey one I really don’t want to go down again. Which is why it is so important to me to raise money for Cancer Research, they truly need our support in raising as much money as possible to help fund vital research into beating cancer! This will be my very first 10k run and I am really excited knowing that my commitment to this and all my hard work that I’m putting into it is going to save the life of another person! Please help me raise as much money as possible, every penny really does count. Thanks Kayleigh. Xx
