Cancer is happening right now, it has probably touched your life in one way or another. My Grandma died when I was 10 due to cancer and my Grandad battled with it not that long ago, we're lucky to still have him around. You dont have to have had cancer yourself to know how much of an impact it has on your life. The statistics are getting worse with now, 1 in 2 people being diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
