My Story
Hey all well it is that time of year again, although this time I will be running this having actually been a cancer patient myself!! (Weird right) I was diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer last July and thanks to the wonderful research carried out by these teams, my outcome was positive. I am now living a perfectly healthy life and will continue to do so. I am running this to show that cancer doesn't discriminate, doesn't matter what age, gender, fit or not! This research is vital in assuring that more have the same outcome as me.....or hopefully better!!! I have worked very hard to build my fitness up (post surgery)so I can run the whole 5k and show cancer who is boss...and I can assure you I WILL run the whole way I refuse to be beaten!
