Kayleigh and Jack's Race for Life

Once again me and my family are taking part in the pretty muddy race for life. We ran last year whilst our Dad was fighting Thyroid Cancer. This year, as hard as it is to say, we are running in memory of him. My dad always has been and always will be my superhero. He fought so hard, never giving up and through all of it he had a cheeky smile on his face and twinkle in his eye. Up until his last breath his family always came first. Which is why the thought of any other family going through the pain and heartache me and my family are going through is devastating. We are doing this for everyone, lets please try and raise money and most of all save lives. Dad couldnt make our run last year as he was in barts hospital, but was there through facetime, Laughing at us, especially when i lost one of my contact lenses in the mud so had to run the rest of the course with one eye closed. This year he is all around us probably still laughing, but giving us the motivation we need. He is every star in the sky, every feather that falls, every robin that appears. I love you daddy. Aswell as us big ones taking part so are some of our little ones. Jack will be running the pretty muddy kids for his grandad. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
