My motivation is my AMAZINGLY STRONG Grandma, who after being treated for a rare head and neck cancer for the last 2 and half years sadly took her angel wings and joined my grandad's and doggy.

Cancer has been in my life since my 2 grandad's passed away from it over 10 years ago... 4 years ago my step grandad was also diagnosed and sadly lost his battle... My family have also been affected by the Cancer through our dog Inky who won her first fight but sadly lost her second this February. It’s with tremendous sadness that I am now adding my grandma to our list of angels after her recent passing. She passed away after having battled against a rare form of head and neck cancer for the last two years. She never gave up her strength and courage right until the very end. I shall be running in memory of every member of my family but mostly for my grandma as I wish to one day be as strong as faithful and as loving as she was and still is!
