My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives? My life was saved by not only an incredible team of doctors, nurses and specialists at the Leicester Royal Infirmary, but also through the positivity of close family and friends who encouraged me to find the strength in me to beat this nasty disease and managed to keep my spirits up throughout three tough years of chemotherapy. Sadly I have witnessed at first hand the devastating effects cancer can bring to a family. Not all of us are fortunate enough to be given a second chance at life, which is why I feel it is important to raise awareness, fund research and support families struggling to come to terms with the big 'C'. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work. I would hugely appreciate your sponsors no matter how big or small so please please donate what you can to help cure cancer and support families just like mine. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK.
