My amazing dad Derrick Brown
My Story
This November, Me, my 14 year old son and my 11 year old daughter will be going vegetarian to raise money for Cancer Research UK. When I was 13 I lost my dad to cancer, he was only 47. The money I raise will help fund life-saving research to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured so hopefully one day no other child will go through the pain of losing a loving parent to this horrible disease. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
