My Story
My mum was an absolute fighter and managed to beat breast cancer and also multiple skin cancers thanks to the excellent care and treatment from NHS doctors and staff. We lost her in August 2021 (not to cancer) but she would be so proud of me for doing my bit to try and help others. My dad lost his battle against lung cancer in November 2018 but managed to fight for over a year after diagnosis, again thanks to the help of NHS doctors and staff. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.
