My Story
Thank you for even coming to see this fundraising page. I know how hard things are right now and I’m not expecting anything. I’d just love the support and encouragement from friends, clients and colleagues who have come this far to read this. If you know me at all, you know I thrive being challenged and having lost my step dad so suddenly and shockingly to both liver and bowel cancer in March I want to do something to help others being affected by this disease. So I’m going to complete the IronMay Challenge to help raise money for Cancer Research UK. It won’t be easy to fit in with all the other things in life but then I’m reminded no one has it easy. If you can spare even a £1, it might help someone who needs it and will certainly spur me on those MANY miles on the bike, feet and in the water. Thank you 🙏🏻 Katy xxx

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
