My Story
In February my best friend Victoria was diagnosed with breast cancer at just 33 and only 6 months after celebrating her wedding day. As a nurse, I’m sure she knew more than most the hardships she was about to face, regardless she has faced every part of her cancer journey so far with such incredible strength and tenacity that I find myself perpetually in awe. I wanted to do something even tiny as a tribute to her strength of character and generosity of spirit. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure.
