My Story

Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Hi everyone, Some of you are aware that my mum was diagnosed with breast cancer this year and is currently undergoing intensive chemo treament. Whilst ive always supported and donated to cancer charities its not until you've been affected by cancer that you start to understand and realise how it impacts on everyone. whilst its been a difficult time for my mum hopefully she will be one of the sucess stories of survival (thanks to medical development), others though are not so fortunate which is why we need to continue raising money for cancer research so we can erradiate this terrible disease once and for all.... Some of you know how much i love my food and drink and how much of a big decision this has been for me but im willing to ditch the red wine and the cake and get my running shoes on so i can give a little bit back.
