I'm taking on Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money to beat cancer sooner

As some of you may know, I have taken part in Race for Life many times over the years. It's always been a cause close to my heart having seen many friends and family members suffer either personally or indirectly due to Cancer and the effects it can have on those close to you. Only this year for me it is a little different.... Very sadly, my wonderful Mum passed away in February after a very cruel and unexpected short battle with Cancer. It has left an unimaginable hole in mine and my family's life. The figures are shocking - 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Look at the person sat next to you right now... that's one of you. I'm taking part in Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise awareness and money - whilst treatment couldn't save my Mum, with the groundbreaking work Cancer Research UK’s is doing, it will help and save many others and hopefully one day we will live in a world where Cancer can be permanently beaten. Every single pound you donate makes a difference. Please help by sponsoring me.
