My grandad Peter Holyer
My Story
I have decided to raise money for Cancer Research as Cancer is happening right now! The training and the actual half marathon is going to be hard both physically and emotionally. This is for my mum who beat cancer , my mother in law who beat cancer but most importantly in memory of my grandad who lost his battle on 20 September 2018. I will never forget the day he told me 'I won't be there at the finish line in person but I will be there looking down at you' After being close to my grandad with his hospital treatment myself and my family realise that every penny really does count towards the vital research for both curing cancer and prolonging a life, the training and support that is given.
