I have seen first hand what this awful disease does to people and the families that have to watch the suffering! It's so close to my heart as my best friend lost her dad to cancer earlier this year and already I have other friends that have close family members desperately battling cancer! This 10k run is a massive challenge for me as i have never ran any sort of race before nor do I like partaking in much physical sport/activities. I am training/running at least twice a week In preparation for this so fingers crossed, I'm going to smash this!
